We have a way that you can straighten your teeth - without braces. That means you can straighten your teeth without anyone even knowing. Do you want to know more? Let Bryan Hill, DDS tell you about the wonders of Invisalign.
What Is Invisalign?
There are many adults who want to make changes in their teeth. But no adult wants to make changes to their teeth with metal in their mouths. While having braces is ok when you are a teenager, it is not ok when you are an adult. You have a lot more responsibilities as an adult. You may be a boss, own your own business, or you’re an executive. Perhaps you’re in school to change your career or start a brand-new job path. You also may be a parent, which means you are busy running kids all over the place. Maybe you work for a non-profit, and you have to give speeches or interviews. Your life is busy.
Invisalign is a wonder in the teeth straightening arena. They are clear, plastic aligners for your teeth. Instead of annoying metal braces, you can remove these aligners. Invisalign aligners are also nearly invisible - so most likely, no one will know you are even wearing them.
Do I Need Invisalign?
There are many reasons Invisalign is helpful. Invisalign is perfect for crooked teeth. Invisalign was made to fix crooked teeth. There are other reasons Invisalign is useful. This product can straighten and close the spaces in your teeth. Invisalign can also fix teeth that are crowding other teeth or are in front of other teeth. The product can also fix bite issues, such as overbite, underbite, and crossbites. Over time, many of these alignment issues can cause problems with your teeth and jaws. Getting your teeth straight and you bite fixed will help you keep your teeth in the long run.
How Does It Work?
We use pictures of your teeth so that we can make a model of them. We also use pictures to develop your treatment program. While traditional braces fix all of your teeth at the same time, Invisalign only treats one or two teeth at a time. We will then follow your treatment program. You will wear the same set of aligners for a month or so. When you come in and see us, you will get a new set. You can take your aligners out to eat, drink, brush and floss your teeth.
